Noah Seelye advances to PIAA Bowling Championships

Having an outstanding regional tournament Noah Seelye  to put himself in the top 12 and then upset Nick Huff from Butler in individual play to place 8th overall and earn himself a spot in the state championships in Lancaster next weekend.


Two Shaler Area Wrestlers went to Hershey with dreams of bringing home medals, both achieved that goal.  Ryan Sullivan lost a tough battle in the championships finals to finish with a silver medal.  It was an outstanding finish for the young sophomore, with high hopes for the coming years.  Ron D’ Amico had an outstanding

D’Amico wins again, continues battling back

Ron D’Amico continued his battle back in the state consolation bracket winning again in the third round of the consolation bracket.  He  still has opportunity to work back to third place.

D’Amico wins bout in consolations

Ron D’Amico won his second round consolation bout, he will have another match this evening vs. Jake Slinger of Upper St. Clair. Ryan Sullivan will face off against Max Mendez of Council Rock tomorrow for a chance to advance to the 106 lb title match.

In the first rounds of the PIAA wrestling championships.  Ryan Sullivan won his only match of the  day to advance to the final eight of his weight class.  Ron D’Amico won his first match, but fell in his second match to fall into the consolation bracket.

Two Titan Wrestlers advance to State Tournament

Ryan Sullivan and Ron D’amico will be participating in the PA State Wrestling Championships this weekend in Hershey PA.  Ryan lost a very close decision in overtime in the WPIAL Final to take 2nd.  Ron battled back from a semi-final loss to win the Consolation Finals and take 3rd place.
