The Shaler Titans Girls Track & Field team suffered a tough loss to North Allegheny in the final regular season meet of the season. Lexi Henning captured a 3rd place finish against the Tigers in the 100 meter hurdles, as well as a 2nd place finish in the 300 meter hurdles. Addie Kubiscek finished 3rd in the 400 meter run and also tied for 1st in the high jump with a height of 4-9. Bella Pilyih finished 3rd in the 2 mile run to secure a point for the Titans. Rylee Donovan and Gabby Lebakken helped the team by placing 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Javelin throwing 94-3 and 90-9. Allison Ketterer helped do her part in the field as well with a 3rd in the discus with a throw of 73-6. Our long and triple jumpers also helped the team to score, with Claire Schreiber placing 1st in both the long and triple jump and Maddie Bartosh placing 3rd in the long and 2nd in the triple jump. Maura Fisher also earned a point by placing 3rd in the high jump.
The Lady Titans will look to better their performances at the Pine Richland Invitational on May 5th to secure their positions in the top 24 for WPIALS.
